The course for the Thomas Chamberas 6K Race was designed by runners for runners. It was created in the spirit of a classic New England cross country course and includes grassy fields, dirt paths, some single track sections and two challenging climbs. Listed as 6K, the course is not certified (it is USATF sanctioned, though) or exactly measured. This is, after all, a cross country race.
There is a water stop runners will pass twice (thanks Youngstah!) We have had runners as young as six and as old as 80 years old finish this course. We have had first-time XC racers and US Olympic team members run this course, and they all loved it.
